FAQs
For people using and creating portfolios.
No. Weavr is software. You and your agent pick the assets from the full eligible list, and Weavr deploys your portfolio and keeps it on target by rebalancing mechanically back to the weights you set. Nobody at Weavr chooses assets for you, and backtests show historical data, not projections.
You do, through onchain vault contracts. Weavr is non-custodial, and neither Weavr nor creators can access your assets.
No. Connect a wallet and go. If you use Weavr through a regulated partner, that partner may ask you for KYC.
Usually within minutes. It takes longer when positions need to be unwound, and some real-world assets take longer still. If a withdrawal is expected to take more than an hour, you see an estimate up front, not a guarantee.
Each asset sits in its own pool, which can be halted to protect holders. A mix of assets reduces the impact of any single one, but doesn't remove the risk.
Portfolios are locked by default: if a creator wants a new mix, they publish a new version and you decide whether to move. Where a portfolio does allow changes, they're announced in advance with a notice period, so you can exit first.
Anyone can become a creator: describe your thesis to your agent and publish it. Creators aren't investment advisers. They publish rules-based portfolios, the way index providers publish indices. They don't manage anyone's money, can't access your assets, and don't set prices.
Royalty: a protocol-set share whenever people use your portfolio. Tournaments: prizes for top-ranked portfolios, often sponsored by asset issuers. Licensing: top portfolios can be licensed to regulated partners, with the creator earning a royalty.
No. Leaderboard rankings come from onchain performance and are never for sale. Paid placements are always labelled "Sponsored," including in what your agent sees.
Some assets, such as tokenized stocks, carry issuer restrictions on who can hold them, so you'll be asked to confirm before depositing. All deposits are also screened against sanctions lists.
